Dandelion root and leaf bring complementary herbal roles to one formula. The root is traditionally associated with liver and digestive support; the leaf complements normal kidney function and fluid balance.

Certified-organic dandelion is delivered in an alcohol-free liquid with a naturally sweet glycerin base. Choose it for an individual wellness need. It is not an automatic cleanse after medication or illness, or a way to treat unexplained fluid retention.

No product-specific onset or universal duration has been verified. Persistent appetite, digestive, thirst or urination changes need veterinary assessment.

One herb, two plant parts: Dandelion Herbal Tonic combines certified-organic root and leaf at 250 mg per mL. Distilled water and vegetable glycerin USP form its alcohol-free liquid base.

Animal Essentials brings 30+ years of herbal expertise to formulas with a clear purpose. The measured liquid offers an alternative to capsules, with specific amounts for cats and different dog sizes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dandelion supports comfortable digestion and healthy liver and kidney function. Its root and leaf provide complementary herbal support. Persistent digestive changes, altered urination or swelling need veterinary assessment; medication use does not automatically create a need for a cleanse.

The appropriate frequency and duration depend on the formula and the individual pet. Use the stated serving amounts and precautions, and discuss ongoing use with your veterinarian, particularly when your pet has a medical condition or takes medication.

Ask your veterinarian to review all medications and supplements together before combining them. Formulas differ in their ingredients and precautions, and more than one product may supply the same herb. A shared wellness purpose does not establish that a combination is appropriate.
