not much of a chew. My dog swallows whole. no dental benefit since doesn't not chew product.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Our Dental Support Soft Chews aren’t designed to clean the teeth through the physical act of chewing like a traditional dental chew.

Sea-Dent works through the saliva. The formula helps raise the pH level of the saliva, creating an oral environment that is less favorable for plaque buildup. It also combines kelp with five functional enzymes—lysozyme, amylase, cellulase, papain and protease—to further support clean teeth, healthy gums and fresh breath.

Because the benefit doesn’t depend on mechanically scrubbing the teeth, your dog can still receive the intended dental support even if they swallow the soft chew whole. Consistent daily use is important, with visible changes typically seen after about 15–20 days of continuous use.

Extremely Effective

Very effective and affordable. I've been using for only 2 days and both my dogs swollen red gum and bad smell issues are pretty much gone away. Super easy to use as I top it on their food. They have no issue with the soft chew smell or taste. The tartar is still there but we'll see how it goes when using for a longer time.

Easy to use to keep dog's teeth clean

Years ago a board certified veterinary dentist recommended this to me for my dog. I've been using it ever since. It does keep the tartar from building up. You just give them a chew or two each day. Easy and effective.

Easy to use

This comes in a very small pouch but you use very little of it each time you put it on your dog food. I have friends that recommended this product and I have been using it for about a month. It seems my dogs teeth are whiter and I can’t find any real evidence of tartar. Time will tell, and if my dogs teeth remain this way, it’s well worth it to avoid putting her to sleep to do her teeth. And the amount I put in the food is so small my dog doesn’t even notice it.

Great Product for My Dog!

I was a little worried that my dog wouldn't like the flavor, but he dives right into his meal with the chews sprinkled on top. I've been using for over a month and already his teeth are benefiting. When my friend (who has a Golden a year older than mine) told me that's what she uses, I wanted to try it as her dog's teeth are very white and have no visible tartar even though she doesn't brush her teeth. I brush my boy's teeth, but still was starting to see a little tartar buildup and I wanted to avoid that. This is a GREAT addition to his daily needs. I will continue to use this product!

I had to see it to believe it

My 3.5 year old 65-lb golden doodle had brown plaque on his rear molars. I read about this and figured it wouldn’t work, but thought it was worth a try anyway. Within a month, his plaque was almost completely gone! If was truly amazing. The bag is small but a few chews with his food was all it took. The bag lasts months. I still have about a half a bag left and now plan to continue every other day. Finally a supplement that very obviously works.

EXCELLENT for Fighting and Getting Rid of Plaque on your Doggy's Teeth - HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I recommend this to everyone I know. One of my friend's just recently thanked me because his doggy's breath went from gross to fresh in about a month. It truly gets rid of plaque and helps doggies teeth and gums. My friend introduced me to this back in 2017 after her 14 year old dog's teeth saw a huge improvement (her vet couldn't believe it), so I have been using it on my dog every since. My dog's breath is perfect now, unless she has a tummy ache. This stuff is the best. I break it up and sprinkle it on my dog's food in the morning, it doesn't have a strong scent at all. AND my dog has a very sensitive nose AND sensitive tummy and if this hurt her in any way or she was turned off by it, I would never use it - but I've been using it for years. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. I never want to put her under to get her teeth cleaned unless I totally have to (so far, I don't have to and I do NOT brush her teeth).
