Each mushroom is supplied as a certified organic 1:1 hot-water extract. The three extracts total 1,000 mg per 1 gram (½ teaspoon). All three are certified organic, whole-mushroom extracts with no inactive ingredients.

DEFENSE is an option when a pet’s wellness plan calls for Maitake, Reishi and Cordyceps together for a healthy immune response, normal energy, digestion and appetite. It is administered once daily. New fatigue, poor appetite, illness or medical treatment requires veterinary guidance rather than self-directed supplementation.

Administer the measured powder directly into the mouth once daily, during or after eating. Use the scoop supplied with the product; amounts differ by formula, species and body weight. Do not force dry powder into the airway. Ask a veterinarian for help if the pet resists or has difficulty swallowing.

Review the complete combination with your veterinarian, especially when a pet takes medication or has a medical condition. Account for herbs, mushrooms and other ingredients already present in the diet or other supplements. Combining more products is not automatically more helpful.

It’s not making my dog sick that i know of . Nutritional support is the goal.

i got this for my GSD who has seizures, not realizing that some of the mushrooms in this one can interfere with his seizure medication (pheno), so this one is a no-go for us HOWEVER i also got the version that only has Maitake mushroom in it and that one is safe to use and he hasn't had an issue with that one at all. seems to be less itchy too after almost 2 weeks of use.

Good quality mushroom supplement for dogs. Powder is as you would expect and dissolves quickly if mixing with liquid. Dogs do not notice any taste issues.
