Body Cleanse Herbal Tonic Blend | Waste Elimination & Digestive Support
$22.95

The liver, kidneys and digestive tract work together in the body’s normal elimination of waste. Detox Blend supports these connected functions with a broader approach than a single liver-focused herb.

Milk thistle and dandelion combine with burdock, red clover, alfalfa and licorice. All six herbs are certified organic. The liquid base contains distilled water, grain alcohol USP at less than 6% by volume and vegetable glycerin USP; it is not alcohol-free.

Use caution with cardiac or kidney problems and in animals on steroids. Excessive or long-term use may cause or contribute to water retention, hypertension and other cortisone-like effects. Choose suitability and course length for the individual pet with veterinary guidance.

Six certified organic herbs support connected elimination pathways in one blend. This gives Detox Blend a different role from single-herb Milk Thistle Tonic and two-herb Liver Defense, with its own directions and precautions. Informed by founder and formulator Greg Tilford’s 30+ years of herbal expertise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Choose Detox Blend when your pet’s wellness plan calls for support across normal liver, kidney and digestive-tract elimination pathways. It is not an automatic response to medication, toxin exposure or a seasonal change. Discuss suitability with your veterinarian, particularly with steroids or cardiac or kidney problems.

Do not assume indefinite use is appropriate. Excessive or long-term use may cause or contribute to water retention, hypertension and other cortisone-like side effects. A fixed course length has not been established; your veterinarian should help determine suitability and duration.

Ask your veterinarian to review all medications and supplements together before combining them. Formulas differ in their ingredients and precautions, and more than one product may supply the same herb. A shared wellness purpose does not establish that a combination is appropriate.

No finished-formula response timeline has been established. Monitor appetite, energy and digestive comfort rather than expecting a change by a specific week. If the condition worsens or does not improve, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.

Miracle product!

This stuff is an absolute lifesaver! LITERALLY! Our 11 year old girl beagle stopped eating her food so we took her to the vet. After spending 3 days in the vet hospital they were running tests and IV liquids thru her. Her liver was shutting down and she just wasn't doing well at all. Her eyes, ears and gums were yellow. They recommended the liver supplement pill Denamarin however she wouldn't take anything pills no matter what we wrapped them in. As a last resort we searched for a liquid liver supplement. This one along with a handful of other popped up on Amazon. You know the good old saying "you get what you pay for". Well in this case it couldn't be any more true. There were some for $20 and $30 but after reading the reviews on this one I figured well we just spent a fortune on vet bills what do we have to lose other than another $65. We have been giving her .5ml every morning for the past 2 weeks today and WOW!! After the first week she finally started gaining her appetite back. Then each day after that it gradually got better. 2 weeks in today and she is practically back to herself. Don't get me wrong this isn't making her liver 100% better however after seeing her eating like normal now and her eyes, ears and gums not looking as yellow we are very hopeful. It says on the description that it take 6-8 week for the full effect to work. Well I honestly couldn't be any happier with this product. I would pay double the price just because I am seeing such better results than when she was at the vets office. Thank you so much for making a quality brand product that truly shows amazing results. Keep up the amazing work.

THIS WORKS! Please give it a try!

THIS WORKS! Please give it a try!I normally don't ever write reviews this long, but this is a must!!!Long story short, my 14 year old Chihuahua mix who has a tiny heart murmur, but has never had any issues with her liver, had a blood test back in November 2024 to check how she was doing, and to our surprise her liver enzymes WERE SUPER HIGH...i mean in the 1,600 range. After the vet nurse called me to give me the results, she let me know that the vet was highly suggesting i take her to the ER. I let her know that she didn't seem to be in discomfort and seemed pretty fine, so I would hold off on taking her to the vet, especially because I didn't have the financial means to do so.Hence, I had noticed a lot of peeing and lots of water intake, but nothing too alarming. What bothered me however, is that instead of them providing a suggestion for the time being, they are extremely quick to refer to the most expensive option, which for some people its financially okay, but not for the majority.I had to go out of my way and ask them if they had a suggestion in the meantime or any medication i can try to give her to see if that helped. They put me on hold and the vet prescribed me Denamarin. When I went to go pick them up, they were the size of a nickel, almost close to a quarter size. I was instructed to give her half AND NOT CRUSH IT, but there was no way she was going to eat it, especially because she's extremely picky. I tried researching on other alternatives and ordered a box of Nutramax Denamarin Liver Health Supplement for Small Dogs and Cats - with S-Adenosylmethionine (Same) and Silybin, 30 Tablets. She's roughly about 13 pounds and since the "small" option is up to 12 pounds, I would give her 2 blue pills. One in the morning and one in the evening. They were the size of a small advil and could easily be wrapped in a small piece of chicken. I would give it to her 1 hr before her actual meal.I know that it states to be given on an empty stomach, but putting it in a piece of chicken was fine, no issue. After a few days, they wanted me to go back within a week to get more blood tests done, but i waited a few months instead because what was the point of going so soon. I was just going to pay the $220 fee and nothing was going to change within i week -__- ....its common sense to be honest lol. After researching even more, I noticed one user say that they tried a combination of the Denamarin with this supplement. I purchased this product towards the end of November 2024 as well, and was adding it to her food after the 1 hr mark had passed of giving her the Denamarin. After a month passed by, i started to notice that she was not peeing as much as she use to and the water intake normalized. However, she kept having diarrhea. I was concerned that probably the liver enzymes were still very high, which was the cause of the diarrhea. However, towards the beginning of January 2025, i stopped giving her the Denamarin and was only giving her this supplement. The diarrhea seemed to have stopped and not only did her water intake normalize, but also her peeing.I decided to take her for an updated blood test on February 17th and got the results back on February 20th.HER LIVER ENZYMES SHOWED THEY HAD GONE DOWN FROM 1, 688 TO 133. Still a bit over the number window by like 4 numbers, BUT IT WAS AN ENORMOUS PROGRESS. I WAS SO HAPPY AND THANKFUL!I had a follow up with the vet who was also stunned about the results and when i told her i was giving her this supplement, you could tell she was not as excited (same issue when you mention to doctors about natural supplements).I honestly don't care what she thought, results were there and IT WORKS.I'm not a professional of any sorts, but i try to research as much as possible and try things that can help my fur baby, and I'm thankful I did. If you have a fur baby that may have liver enzymes as high as mine and you don't have the financial means to go to the ER vet, please give the combination of this supplement and Denamarin. Obviously if you see that one of the products may be causing issues, then stop immediate use. But you don't lose anything with giving it a try! Even if it's just this supplement! :""""D

We took her back to the vet - the jaundice was worse. The vet looked heartbroken to tell me and ...

I am compelled to write this review because this product I am convinced saved our cat. Our vet thought we should put her down on October 7 - liver failure from some sort of poison. Prior to that we found she was loosing weight and not eating - then she disappeared for a few days. We found her outside under the deck lethargic and so thin. We took her to the vet and they admitted her for a few days - she was on IV and antibiotics. She was very jaundice. This is when the vet said it was some sort of poison that she must have consumed somehow. She seemed to recover a bit so we took her home and were force feeding her food from the vet with a syringe, with vitamins (a tonic) and antibiotics. She was home about three days and seemed to go downhill again rapidly. We took her back to the vet - the jaundice was worse. The vet looked heartbroken to tell me and my crying daughters that we should put her down - that her liver was just failing. I asked if she was in pain and he said no so I asked if we could take her home to say goodbye to the girls and my husband (this was a Sat) and we’d bring her back Monday to put her down. The vet thought that was fine. It was a painful day. That night I just googled something like “my cat’s liver is failing” and got this product and read the reviews so ordered it. We fed her everyday with a syringe and about 15 to 20 drops a day each. Our cat was completely emaciated - just a bag of bones. No energy. She would not eat or drink and just slept all day. She, Luna, is only five by the way. This was not like her. So days and days of force feeding - the insides of her ears were the color of lemons - I’m wondering if I am a horrible mom prolonging this for my girls when two days ago, Luna seemed to enjoy her food. She was lapping it from the syringe, then that night, she groomed herself! (She’s pretty stinky and matted) and the next day, she was lapping her food from the spatula and I cried. That day, she ate some kibble and today ate Tuna fish with all the manners of a starving dog. She’s purring like mad right now and kneading her cat bed. She’s got so much more energy - she tries to jump on the window sill and misses (which is sad and encouraging). If you have a sick pet - or hopeless as we did - do give this stuff a try. It’s incredible - a life saver.

So my dog started to display some seasonal allergy symptoms. I reached out to the kind folks at Animal essentials and they recommended that I do the detox along with the allergy support. It was recommended that I do the detox for 2 weeks along with the allergy support and then just use the allergy support on its own. We are ending our two weeks now and I can say that it has helped tremendously. I will keep this on hand to do a detox throughout the year for my pup to keep her in tip top shape!

Detox Blend

I gave this to my senior cat after some mild liver‑strain concerns, and within two weeks I noticed she was sleeping more soundly and seemed less sluggish. Her coat also started to look softer and shinier, something we hadn’t seen in a while. The dropper makes it easy to add it to food, and I like that it’s made from gentle herbs. It feels good to support her health naturally.

Noticeable Difference

Wasn’t sure if it’d do anything, but my dog’s energy and appetite improved after a week. Super easy to use, no junk ingredients. Will keep buying.

Can my stud cat be used for breeding while detoxing, if not how long should I wait? How long do I need to wait after a detox to mate the queen?
